St. Charles Rehabilitation has a mission of compassionate care for all.
One way we live out this mission is by hosting free and low-cost programs and events which teach our community how to remain healthy and injury free at every stage of life.
Educational programs and events currently offered by St. Charles include presentations by our healthcare experts, free blood pressure screenings for stroke prevention, exercise classes to ensure adults with arthritis remain physically active, a free falls prevention program for community-dwelling seniors, a therapeutic day camp for children with partial upper-extremity paralysis, and a series of injury prevention initiatives for student athletes.
For those adjusting to a life-changing diagnosis or injury, support groups at St. Charles provide a vital peer network. Support groups are open to individuals never treated at St. Charles as well as family members and caregivers.
