Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy (OT) at St. Charles is shown to help adults across Long Island achieve and maintain independence despite temporary or lifelong impairments.

Our team of occupational therapists are dedicated to helping patients with orthopedic and neurologic injuries to regain their physical and/or cognitive function and focus on the upper extremity (arm).

Our occupational therapists and certified hand therapists can provide specialized treatment and fabricate splints required during recovery from hand injury or surgery.

In addition, our occupational therapists work with patients on "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs).
