Pediatric Therapy Program

St. Charles is Long Island’s leading expert in pediatric therapy and our CARF-accredited Pediatric Speciality Program offers speech therapy, occupational therapy and PT (physical therapy) for infants, children and teens.

The licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists in our program are pediatric experts who combine their therapeutic skill with creativity to keep their young patients engaged as children work to improve their physical, cognitive (thinking) and communication abilities. Our pediatric therapists also collaborate with parents and caregivers to identify the best approach for each child and determine how skills learned here can be applied at home, school and play.

In keeping with our 110 year mission, the pediatric gyms and therapeutic treatment areas at St. Charles are designed with children in mind, from properly scaled furniture to toys and games that engage and challenge pediatric patients with a variety of sensory processing abilities.

In our continued effort to live out our mission and offer the best pediatric therapy on Long Island, St. Charles has earned accreditation in outpatient medical rehabilitation from CARF International, the global leader in rehabilitation accreditation, and has maintained this recognition since 2008.
