Swallowing Assessments

St. Charles employs both state-of-the-art imaging techniques and minimally invasive approaches. These include:

  • Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing Sensory Testing (FEEST)
  • Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
  • In-office Swallow Evaluation

Speech Certifications

Every speech therapist at St. Charles holds a certificate of clinical competency from The American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and many have specialty certifications and training with advanced techniques and tools, such as:
